- Listings you post, including photos
- Your profile details (bio, photo)
- Messages you send to neighbors
- Likes and favorites you save
- A device notification token, if you enable push notifications
- Reports and blocks you submit
- To show you listings near your neighborhood
- To let neighbors contact you about your listings

- To keep the community safe — content is screened before it's posted, and reports and blocks are acted on
- We never sell your data to third parties
Nabo relies on a small number of service providers: Apple (sign-in and push notifications), Expo (push delivery), Supabase (data hosting, US), and OpenAI (automated screening of listing and profile content). They process your data only to provide these services to us. Nabo uses no third-party analytics or ad tracking.
We store only approximate coordinates, rounded to about a city block — enough to match you with nearby neighbors, not your exact address. Your coordinates are never shown to other users or shared in the app; neighbors only ever see a distance. Guests' location is used only to load nearby listings and isn't saved.
Your data is stored in the United States and encrypted in transit and at rest, wherever you use Nabo from. We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account anytime from Settings: your profile, active listings, photos, likes, and favorites are permanently removed. Messages and records of past listings remain in de-identified form ("Deleted User"). To prevent abuse of our neighborhood-change limit, we keep a hashed, non-identifying sign-in record for up to 30 days after deletion; it is then removed automatically.
You can view and correct your information in the app, and delete your account and its data anytime from Settings. To request a copy of your data, or to ask a privacy question, email us at naboapp@proton.me.
Nabo is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you give Nabo permission to store and display that content in the app so neighbors can see it. You're responsible for what you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
Nabo helps neighbors connect, but exchanges happen between you and other people — not with Nabo. Meet in a public place, use good judgment, and share only what you're comfortable with. You take part in exchanges at your own risk.
Nabo is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. All exchanges between neighbors are voluntary and at your own discretion, and we are not responsible for transactions, interactions, or disputes between users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nabo and its developer are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. This agreement is between you and Nabo's developer, not Apple; Apple has no responsibility for the app, but may enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms or this policy from time to time; continued use of Nabo means you accept the changes.
